You will be given the opportunity to work and develop your skills on a variety of different types of projects.
As a TREKK Structural Project Engineer II, you will be responsible to further develop your career in structural design. We will train you to provide your clients with holistic common sense solutions. We will guide you as you further your career by helping you determine your personal purpose and helping you align that with TREKK’s purpose of IMPROVING LIVES by providing direction to enable community and personal growth.
You will need to implement critical thinking and problem solving skills. You may be asked to present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions as required. You will support the TREKK team around you.
Key performance expectations are outlined below:
Use technical and management skills to deliver solutions.
Structural design and plan production.
Provide hands-on expertise during the project.
Assist with project management responsibilities including the financial well-being of your projects.
Establish client relationships with new and existing clients.
Share your technical knowledge by mentoring and training staff.
Expand your technical expertise through individual and team learning opportunities
Represent TREKK in professional society organizations and functions.
Maintain accurate, legible and organized records of work completed.
Provide accurate time and expense reporting.
Maintain an 85% utilization rate.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Engineer-in-Training certification preferred with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Strong willingness to obtain a working technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
A working knowledge of and/or desire to learn various structural analysis software, MicroStation, Excel, and Word.
Must be able to work effectively in team situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
Participate in and encourage a collaborative approach.
